Are the garments 100% made from bamboo?
All Bamboo Active styles are 95% bamboo and 5% spandex. Adding spandex gives the fabric elasticity and stretch and makes wearing the clothing even more comfortable
Does Bamboo Active have the same characteristics as traditional active wear?
By nature, bamboo fibre is a little heavier and denser than other fibres such a cotton, and while this provides many benefits as a fabric, it does behave slightly different when worn as active wear. You will find it doesn’t ‘grab’ the skin in the same way, however its inherent characteristics of breathability, non odour and softness make it a perfect choice to wear for however you do active!
Where is Bamboo Active made?
All our clothing is designed in Australia and manufactured in China. We ensure we only work with ethical manufacturers who provide safe working environments, follow best practice and pay their workers a fair wage.
Does bamboo clothing requires special care when washing?
There are a few basic best practices to follow when washing your Bamboo Active garments.
Separate light and dark fabrics as you would for any laundry. Dye can bleed from dark bamboo and stain lighter fabrics.
Wash the bamboo fabric gently using cold water.
Dry the fabric on the low or delicate setting in the dryer. or alternatively, line-dry the bamboo items.
